We have a capacity of 120,000,000 sachets. We work with a range of businesses in many industries, who are ordering between 50,000 – 20,000,000 sachets per annum.
A 100k per variant
This is due to the speed of the machine and the length of time it takes to set up for production, it would not be commercially viable for us to set up on less than 100k of each bulk variant.
Technically yes, there are 6 lanes on the machine, and we can print on the flexo printed film 6 artwork impressions across the web, so you could use the same bulk across 6 different artworks. There may be a requirement or cost to sort the sachets however.
I’m afraid not, the MOQ for each bulk variant is 100k due to the speed of the machine.
We could provide a quote to supply you with a small number (say less than 50) mock up samples, which would be hand cut, hand filled, and hand sealed for you to approve and test the market with. Or we could outsource this request to a co-packing partner who has a smaller machine in Europe which can do smaller runs.
Absolutely, we could provide you with a quote for a small number (say less than 50) mock up samples, which would be hand cut, hand filled, and hand sealed for you to approve and test.
Currently we’re working on a 8-10 week lead-time for the PP Alox film and a 4-6 week lead-time the Alu-based film but these lead-times are an estimate so we’ll always provide you more accurate timings once we have received you PO and we have placed orders with our suppliers.
We always perform basic compatibility testing on your formulation to check it's compatible with the Snappd material. All we need is 100ml of product, the MSDS, INCI and/or Ingredient list.
There are fill level ranges on the price list to help to understand which fill level is applicable to each fill size, but we can also help with this and test this for you as I understand that viscosity also plays a part in what fill level is best for each sachet.
Don’t worry we can provide you with some pictograms to add to your artwork which will help to educate your customer. We recommend adding this to the back of the pack.
This is an ambition for the future, and we’d be happy to chat to you about a powder or granular fill, although to be completely honest, we’re a little way off this right now.
If your formulation is compatible with the Snappd sachet material across all 3 weeks of the accelerated compatibility testing, then we can usually recommend up to a 3-year shelf life of the sachet.
We can minimise the oxygen space within the sachet but cannot guarantee total absence of air.
Sometimes production request a line trial on bulk they are wanting to perform due diligence on, to make sure the bulk is compatible with the machine, machine parts, and the pumps etc. In this case it would be performed using 2-3kg of bulk and we would use test film we have available, but this would be tagged onto the end of another production run and would be an exception.
If your product is more suitable to a standard sachet then we would recommend Design Plus.
Yes, we perform compatibility but not formal stability.

We perform this for 3 weeks at an accelerated temperature of 54 degrees.
If requested we can perform stress test, freezer test of -20 degrees, and a pressure test.
We review the bulk sample at compat stage and if the production manager feels that a line trial could be suitable then we will perform this and request 2-3kg of your bulk to facilitate this request.

Yes, at the moment we don’t include PCR content into the film as this would affect the efficacy of the film, but it is something we are working on for the future.
The end user pays the tax, and this is passed down the chain supply using the same principle as VAT.
